Camp Rules

1. General Rules
1.1 Scout and guide laws apply to everyone in the camp.
1.2 All campers have to follow the daily agenda.
1.3 For security measures, all campers must wear their neckerchief and wristband at all times. Swapping wristbands is forbidden. If a wristband is broken or lost, a new one must be issued from the information point.


2. Quiet Hours and Night Rest
2.1 During quiet hour, the campsite must be silent and lights turned off.
2.2 During night rest, everyone should be in their tents – no chilling around the campsite.


3. Electronic Devices
3.1 There is no possibility for participants to charge mobile phones or other electronic devices.


4. Safety and Reporting
4.1 Participants must immediately inform their sub-camp leader or camp staff if they notice unsafe behaviour, broken equipment, or hazards in the camp area.
4.2 In case of emergency, everyone must follow the instructions of the safety team.


5. Leaving the Camp Area
5.1 Short-time exits (up to 30 minutes) can take place through the main gate with permission from the group leader.
5.2 Every camper, including organisers and visitors, must sign out when leaving the camp for longer than 30 minutes and sign in upon returning. This is done at the camp information office. The security team is entitled to check this.


6. Swimming Rules
6.1 Swimming rules apply to all campers.
6.2 The official camp swimming area is at the camp beach (next to the bridge), monitored and regulated by the camp lifeguard.
6.3 Participants may only swim with their leaders and must follow the lifeguard’s instructions.
6.4 Green flag = swimming area is open. Red flag = swimming area is closed.
6.5 The swimming spot by the sauna is reserved for camp staff and ISTs; swimming there is at their own risk.


7. Fire and Environmental Safety
7.1 Campers are not allowed to make fires or use open flames. Only camp staff may make a campfire, following official Estonian fire safety regulations.
7.2 Trees cannot be felled for camp structures or any other purpose. Permission from the Head of Technical team is required to cut down a tree.
7.3 All waste must be sorted according to Estonia’s waste sorting rules. All bins are labeled and must be used accordingly.


8. Relationships and Conduct
8.1 Romantic or intimate relationships between adult camp staff (including ISTs) and campers under 18 are not allowed.


9. Prohibited Items and Behavior
9.1 All items, substances, or behaviors unsuitable for a children’s camp are strictly prohibited (e.g., alcohol, tobacco, narcotics, prohibited weapons, explosives, violence, bullying, harassment, etc.).
9.2 Problems should be reported to group leaders or camp staff for mediation and resolution.
9.3 In case of violations, the safety team may be involved, an incident report filed, and relevant authorities notified.


10. Health and First Aid Services
10.1 The camp has a First Aid and Mental Health Support Center for health issues or emotional support.
10.2 In exceptional cases, the center can store medications requiring special conditions. The medication must be labeled with the recipient’s name (printed letters) and dosage instructions. Medications without this information cannot be stored.
10.3 For serious incidents, a written report will be created, one copy provided to the camper. Emergency services may be called if needed, requiring the camper’s personal identification number. Parents or guardians will be notified.


11. Traffic Rules
11.1 Vehicles are strictly prohibited on the camp premises during camp.
11.2 Short-term presence of vehicles with special markings or permits is allowed only with the approval of the safety team.
