Age Limits
Age Limits for Leaders
Leaders are considered to be individuals responsible for a group of 10 participants, and must be at least 18 years of age.
Age Limits for Participants
Young people aged between 11 and 17 at the start of the camp are eligible to take part in the Baltic Jamboree as participants.
Age Limits for IST
Individuals aged 18 and above at the start of the camp can register to be members of the International Service Team (IST).
Patrol size
Each patrol will consist of 10 participants and 1 leader. Registration is individual. However, for patrol members to register, the patrol leader must complete registration first after which they get a confirmation email, then the patrol members may register.
Fees
The fee for participants, patrol leaders and International Service Team (IST) is as follows:

*The fee is applicable only if the leader or IST has provided written proof of having acquired the “Laagrikasvataja kutsetunnistus tase 5” required by the Estonian youth camp directives.
The camp participation fee is subject to an additional service fee.
Fee for participants
The fee for participants includes:
1. All campsite fees from the day of the opening ceremony to the day of the closing
ceremony
2. The Baltic Jamboree programme, including any relevant transportation during the camp.
3. All meals for the duration of the Baltic Jamboree: July 11 to July 17.
4. No personal equipment is provided.
5. Provision of on-site first aid and, if necessary, transportation to a medical facility in the event of illness or accidents during the Baltic Jamboree.
6. Medications and any expenses relating to the specialised care, treatment of pre-existing conditions or hospitalization are NOT included in the fee.
7. A Baltic Jamboree participation`s package.
Fee for IST
The fee for International Service Team (IST) includes:
1. Briefing and training (including role-specific training if required) prior to the arrival of the
participants.
2. All meals for the duration of the Baltic Jamboree: July 11 to July 17.
3. Provision of on-site first aid and, if necessary, transportation to a medical facility in the event of illness or accidents during the Baltic Jamboree.
4. Medications and any expenses relating to the specialised care, treatment of pre-existing conditions or hospitalization are NOT included in the fee.
5. A program of activities for when off duty and participation packs.
Responsibility of NSO/MO (National Scout Organisations /Member organisations)
Each National Scout/Guide Organisation and Association/Member Organisation accepts full responsibility for its members taking part in the Baltic Jamboree. Any intentional harm caused by individual participants, IST or leaders will be invoiced to their respective National Scout/Guide Organisation and Association/Member Organisation of which they are members.
Scope of healthcare provided
Participants of the Baltic Jamboree will have access to the event’s own medical facilities from the time of the opening ceremony to the closing ceremony. Note, however, that treatment of pre-existing conditions are excluded.
Registration process
All registration is individual, done through the official website bjam.eu/registration. Registration is confirmed once the payment has been processed, each leader, IST or participant will receive their confirmation via provided e-mail address.
Registration periods:
Early Camper: 1.10.2025-31.12.2025
Regular Camper: 1.01.2026-31.03.2026
Late Camper: 1.04.2026-8.07.2026
When registering, it is important to choose the right ticket for the event. Available tickets are “leader”, “IST”, “participant”.
Registration for Baltic participants/LEADERS
The fee must be remitted to the bank account provided by the organizing team of Baltic Jamboree 2026, this is done automatically through the registration system.
- All patrol leaders must register first and receive their confirmation before participants can register.
- Once the troop leader has their confirmation by the organizing team, participants are able to register by choosing their troop leader from the drop down menu in the registration form. Each troop can have up to 10 participants per 1 leader, the leader is notified once their troop has reached its maximum participant quota.
- Patrol registration is complete once the confirmation e-mail is received (in 48 hours).
- Leaders receive their complete troop list once 10 participants have registered. If needed, all leaders may turn to info@bjam.eu for additional information about their troop during the registration process.
- Patrol leader registration including the confirmation from the IC (International Commissioner), that the leader is a member of the MO/NSO.
- Payments go through registration portal. The camp participation fee is subject to an additional service fee.
- Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. Payment takes place outside of the Baltic Jamboree website – in the secure environment of the respective bank when paying via bank link, and in the secure environment of Maksekeskus AS when paying by credit card. The registration is considered done once the payable amount has been received in Baltic Jamboree 2026 bank account.
- The organizers of the Baltic Jamboree website is the data controller and transmits the personal data necessary for processing payments to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
Registration for participants outside the Baltic countries
The fee must be remitted to the bank account provided by the organizing team of Baltic Jamboree 2026, this is done automatically through the registration system.
- All patrol leaders must register first and receive their confirmation before participants can register.
- Once the troop leader has their confirmation by the organizing team, participants are able to register by choosing their troop leader from the drop down menu in the registration form. Each troop can have up to 10 participants per 1 leader, the leader is notified once their troop has reached its maximum participant quota.
- Patrol registration is complete once the confirmation e-mail is received (in 48 hours).
- Leaders receive their complete troop list once 10 participants have registered. If needed, all leaders may turn to info@bjam.eu for additional information about their troop during the registration process.
- Patrol leader registration including the confirmation from the IC (International Commissioner), that the leader is a member of the MO/NSO.
- Payments go through the registration portal. The camp participation fee is subject to an additional service fee.
- Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. Payment takes place outside of the Baltic Jamboree website – in the secure environment of the respective bank when paying via bank link, and in the secure environment of Maksekeskus AS when paying by credit card. The registration is considered done once the payable amount has been received in Baltic Jamboree 2026 bank account.
- The organizers of the Baltic Jamboree website is the data controller and transmits the personal data necessary for processing payments to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
Registration for International Service Team (IST)
IST registers individually. The payment procedure is:
1. IST registration and payment is made individually in the registration system.
2. IST registration is confirmed by the organizing team of Baltic Jamboree 2026.
3. If needed, the organizing team will provide the invoice or other proof of payment.
4. Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. Payment takes place outside of the Baltic Jamboree website – in the secure environment of the respective bank when paying via bank link, and in the secure environment of Maksekeskus AS when paying by credit card. The registration is considered done once the payable amount has been received in Baltic Jamboree 2026 bank account.
The organizers of the Baltic Jamboree website is the data controller and transmits the personal data necessary for processing payments to the authorized processor Maksekeskus AS.
Refund of Fee
Fees, once paid for participants, IST or leaders will only be refunded as described in the next section (camp cancellation terms).
Camp Cancellation Terms
Cancellation by organizer before camp begins
If the Baltic Jamboree is canceled by the decision of the organizer (e.g., due to insufficient registrations or other circumstances beyond organizers control), 75% of the participation fee will be refunded, after deducting unavoidable costs already incurred
Force majeure – unforeseen circumstances
If the camp is canceled due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control (e.g., natural disaster, war, terrorism, civil unrest, state of emergency, strike, pandemic), the organizer will cover essential unavoidable expenses. Any remaining funds, if possible, will be refunded after cost assessment.
Cancellation following arrival
If the camp is interrupted or canceled after it has started (11th of July), no refunds will be made, regardless of the reason, as the expenses will have already been incurred and services paid for.
Participant Name Change Conditions
It is possible to change the participants’ name up to 20 days before the start of the camp.
When changing the name, the price difference between the fee paid originally and the current registration fee on the date of the name change must be paid additionally.
The name change request must be sent to: info@bjam.eu
The name change or replacement is considered valid only after confirmation by the organizer.
Participant/Leader/IST Cancellation Terms
A participant can withdraw from the camp, by sending a written notice to: info@bjam.eu.
The cancellation becomes valid only after written confirmation from the organizer.
Refunds are processed according to the following schedule:
- ≥ 40 days before camp starts – 50% of the participation fee is refunded
- 21–39 days before camp starts – 25% of the participation fee is refunded
- ≤ 20 days before camp starts – No refund
If the child is sent home due to violating camp rules, or if the parent/guardian removes the child from camp early, no refund will be issued. When participant joins camp later includes when the participant joins camp later
To request a refund, the participant (or their guardian) must submit a written request to the organizer at info@bjam.eu.
Important Health and Safety Information
Please inform the troop leader and the organizers if the child has any specific needs or conditions that the camp staff should be aware of (for example health issues requiring special attention, inability to partake in any activities etc.)
It is strongly recommended that children be vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis.
If the parent/guardian chooses not to vaccinate, they assume full responsibility in this matter.
Services provided
Medical facilities at the Baltic Jamboree Site are merely provisional facilities focusing on first aid and prehospital care. Any further treatment required will be provided at local medical facilities. The Baltic Jamboree fee does not cover procedures done at the medical facility (e.g. clinical examination and/or treatment suspected fractures, treatment requiring hospitalisation, etc.) and each individual is responsible for any expenses incurred by such treatment and/or hospitalisation. Therefore, everyone attending the Baltic Jamboree is required to obtain insurance to cover such an eventuality, and it is the responsibility of the Head of Contingent to ensure such insurance has been obtained.
Travel insurance
It is recommended that you obtain appropriate insurance cover, such as travel insurance for the period prior to arrival at the start of the Baltic Jamboree and until after the finish of the event, in addition to the Medical Insurance.
Pre-existing Conditions
Those with pre-existing medical conditions should make special arrangements so as to be able to pay for any treatment related to such conditions in case of emergency.
Repatriation
The Baltic Jamboree medical arrangements are based on providing treatment in Estonia and do not include repatriation, whether for medical or other reasons. It is recommended you obtain your own insurance to cover such an eventuality.
Local laws
The Baltic Jamboree takes place in Estonia and local law will apply. By Estonian law, the legal age of adulthood is 18, for smoking it is also 18 and for buying alcohol it is 18. However, the Baltic Jamboree is a strictly no-alcohol event. Smoking on camp grounds and in areas where the programme takes place is forbidden.
Penalties
Anyone in breach of the Baltic Jamboree regulations described in these Terms and Conditions or of local laws may be evicted from the Baltic Jamboree Site. Anyone – including guests and visitors behaving in a manner considered dangerous, which causes offence to others, or is otherwise inappropriate in the context of the Baltic Jamboree, will be evicted from the Baltic Jamboree Site and will not be eligible for any refund of fees.
Expulsion
The Baltic Jamboree Organisation reserves the right to expel any group or individual from the Baltic Jamboree Site and, whenever appropriate, the Head of Contingent will be involved in such a decision. Any expenses arising from the exclusion or eviction of such groups or individuals will be the responsibility of the individuals involved, and complaints or requests for compensation will not be considered.
Privacy Policy
Collection and management of personal information
In order to successfully organise and execute the Baltic Jamboree, the Host Organisations (Eesti Gaidide Liit and Eesti Skautide Ühing) must gather and retain certain personal data relating to attendees.
Agreement
By registering personal information, such as name and date of birth, the individual explicitly consents to the retention of the personal data for purposes pertaining to the organisation and execution of the Baltic Jamboree. Registration also implies explicit agreement with this Privacy Policy as well as with the Terms and Conditions of the Baltic Jamboree.
Presumption of Agreement
If you enter data on behalf of others (proxy), it is assumed that you will have obtained their consent for the Baltic Jamboree to retain their personal data. The Host Organisation assumes that a proxy will have received explicit, prior agreement from the individual concerned. The proxy is responsible for the agreement of this individual.
Use of personal Information
Any personal information retained will not be shared with any third parties, except where necessary for the planning and execution of the Baltic Jamboree.
Use of media rights
By registering for the Baltic Jamboree, you consent to any media footage (e.g. video, photographs, audio) taken at the Baltic Jamboree, and in which you may feature, to be used by the Host Organisation (Eesti Gaidide Liit and Eesti Skautide Ühing) and as well as its licensees or assignees, for all advertising, publicity, and/or editorial purposes, for commercial and/or non commercial purposes, for worldwide distribution in perpetuity.
